You need a truck that can get work done — no questions asked. The 2022 Ranger is equipped with a variety of powerful features to do just that. To start with, the Ranger is built from a high-strength steel frame and features frame-mounted steel bumpers to help tackle rough terrain. Under the hood is a 2.3-litre EcoBoost® engine that’s paired with an electronic 10-speed SelectShift® automatic transmission with Tow/Haul mode. With this powertrain, you can expect to get 270 horsepower, 310 lb-ft of torque, and up to 3,500 pounds of standard towing capacity. The Ranger is also ready for off-road travel with its 8.9 inches of ground clearance and available 9.7 inches with the Tremor® Off-Road Package. Both the Tremor® Off-Road and FX4 packages come with an exposed steel front bash plate and undercarriage skid plates.
 

Exterior Features and Styling

 
The exterior of the new Ford Ranger is both modern and practical. You’ll have the option of painting the truck in one of many great colours, depending on the model you choose, including the unique Cyber Orange. You can also add one of a handful of appearance packages to your Ranger for even more style. In regards to utility, the bed of the truck measures from 60 to 72 inches based on whether you opt for the SuperCrew® (5-foot box) or the SuperCab (6-foot box). Additional standard features on the Ranger’s exterior include two front tow hooks, four pickup box tie-down hooks, and side mirrors with integrated spotter mirrors. When you choose the Ranger XLT or the Ranger LARIAT, you’ll have additional options available, like LED daytime running lights, LED fog lights, rear tow hooks, side mirrors with approach lamps, running boards, and a power locking tailgate.
 

Interior Features

 
When you sit inside the 2022 Ranger, you’ll be surrounded by features that are built to last. The standard black vinyl floor covering ensures that the cabin is protected from whatever you track inside. Meanwhile, you’ll be comfortable in cloth, premium cloth, or leather-trimmed front bucket seats with eight-way power adjustability. You can also choose the available Miko® suede-trimmed seats or cloth seats with orange stitching on select models via packages. Ranger XLT SuperCrew® models come with under-seat storage for added interior utility. Available dual-zone electronic climate control keeps you and your front passenger comfortable in any weather. Additional standard and available interior features include an overhead console, ambient lighting, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, a 110-volt AC power outlet, and dual 4.2-inch color productivity screens.
 

Infotainment Technology

 
It’s important that you have the ability to stay connected to both your truck and the outside world. The Ranger can be filled with various advanced infotainment technologies to keep you entertained and informed. Standard features include a smart-charging USB port, an four-speaker AM/FM stereo system with Bluetooth® Pass Thru, a 3.5-inch centre stack with SYNC®, and FordPass™ Connect™ (Wi-Fi Hotspot) trials. When you choose the Ranger XLT, features like SYNC® 3, a six-speaker audio system, a SiriusXM® All Access trial subscription, 911 Assist®, Applink®, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and two smart-charging USB ports are standard. And exclusive to the Ranger LARIAT is an available 10-speaker B&O® sound system by Bang & Olufsen®.
