What is X Plan?

X Plan, which is also known as the Friends and Neighbours X Plan or Ford Partner Recognition X Plan, is a program designed to help employees of Ford suppliers and Partner companies purchase or lease a new Ford or Lincoln vehicle. This program also provides these employees with Ford’s special partner pricing, discounts that are usually only 4 percent more than the true “Dead Cost” price that is printed on the vehicle invoice.
 

Who’s Eligible for It?

All employees (full-time, part-time, or contract), retirees, and spouses of eligible Partner companies, along with members of specific organizations or groups are all eligible. So are the residents of the same household of the aforementioned employees. Keep in mind, though, that participation is by invitation only as determined by Ford Motor Company. This program essentially provides members of qualifying companies with a supplier discount.
 

How Does It Work?

Before you can receive X Plan pricing, eligible employees must obtain a Partner Recognition Code from their manager or human resources representative. Then, they need to get a Personal Identification Number (PIN) by calling 1-877-294-7554 or going to www.fordpartner.com.

After they receive this PIN, then participants should go to the dealership and identify themselves as an X Plan participant. Once the dealer confirms this with the last four digits of your Social Insurance number and your X Plan PIN, you can select your new Ford vehicle.

Finally, provide proof of employment with a paystub, company ID, business card, or something similar, and you can pick up your new vehicle at the dealership — it’s that easy.
